Day 2: Thursday (B,L,D)
Departing Longreach, experience vast open plains and amongst Jump up hills encounter the secrets of the Australian Age of Dinosaurs laboratory. Learn the legends at the Waltzing Matilda Centre. Travel to Carisbrooke Station, a private pristine wilderness experience on colourful Cory’s Range and meet your hosts, Charles and Penny Phillott. Overnight Carisbrooke Station Winton |

Day 3: Friday (B,L,D)
Explore this 50 000 acre cattle station of natural and cultural wonders including panoramic scenic drives and gorges, Aboriginal Art Sites, and an Opal Mine. Enjoy a homestead lunch and finish the day with a Wildlife Waterhole Sunset Drive including the incredible key line irrigation system and outstanding views of the Williams Valley. After our goodbyes at Carisbrooke Station witness the only recorded dinosaur stampede on the planet at Lark Quarry Conservation Park. After a lazy lunch in Winton head back to Longreach. Enjoy a sunset dinner cruise on the mighty Thomson River. Overnight Longreach |

Explore the Qantas Founders Museum and the original hanger with a relaxing lunch. Learn the legends of the unsung heroes and pioneers at The Australian Stockman’s Hall of Fame. Enjoy leisure time prior to soaking up sunset with the Drover’s Extravaganza Dinner.
