Day 1: Wednesday
Exclusive welcome luncheon at a 2007 Australian Open Garden, sprawling over one and a half acres. Meet Tony Ferguson’s garden creatures created out of recycled corrugated iron. Witness the amazing outback night sky far from city lights at the Cosmos Centre & Observatory. Overnight Charleville. |

Day 2: Thursday
Visit Lass O’Gowrie meeting Di and her river to ridge walk - a short stroll with amazing plant diversity in the natural landscape. Then venture into the heartland of Mulga country visiting Colac Station. Finish the day at Moble Station with it’s water features amongst the labour of love. Overnight Quilpie. |

Day 3: Friday
From the flood plains of the Bulloo River, moving through the mulga into the beautiful Blackall country visiting the open spaces of Listowel Downs overlooking the Mt Edinborough Range. Overnight Blackall. |

Day 4: Saturday
Enjoy Dumfries, 2004 Open Garden, an amazing newer garden, which demonstrates what can be done from scratch in a very short space of time. Overnight Blackall. |

Day 5: Sunday
Track up the mighty Barcoo River to historical homestead of Gillespie - locally renowned for its peaceful ambience and a place of beauty to relax and enjoy. Travelling up to Barcaldine we visit Roseneath, a 2007 Open Garden. Overnight Barcaldine. |

Day 6: Monday
Wander through the Kyneton Station garden, on the edge of the Desert uplands. Meander over to Dunraven Station - Historical Homestead & Gardens amongst the beautiful open downs country. Overnight Barcaldine. |

Learn the experiences of gardeners of the vast open plains and the challenges of the cracking clay soils and open often-windswept downs country. Overnight Longreach. |

A lazy Longreach day at Dariveen Station wandering through the gardens with time for a garden gossip at its best. Savour the Sunset Cruise and unwind around the Campfire. Overnight Longreach. |
